Position Description:
(D.I.V.E.) Opportunities STRTP services young woman ages of 12-17 and Non-Minor Dependents (NMDS) with a variety of diagnoses. Quality Assurance Specialists at (D.I.V.E.) Opportunities STRTP work directly with clinical staff to perform support services such as data entry, internal audits, and other administrative and related tasks.
Quality Assurance Specialists are expected to complete the following job responsibilities:
- Work within a DBH funded mental health program to provide integrated and comprehensive services to adolescents and their families.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team comprised of licensed clinicians, nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists to coordinate client care.
- Maintain confidentiality of records in accordance with HIPPA standards.
- Cross examine billing, clinical, and reporting documents to assess for accuracy and identify potential errors.
- Notify direct supervisor when chart or data entry errors are identified.
- Performs weekly internal chart audits to assess for accuracy.
- Suggests alternatives to documentation or inadequate audit procedures.
- Maintains detailed logs of all audits and audit findings.
- Investigates recurring processing/ data entry problems and implements solutions to correct these problems.
- Coordinates tape library audit controls with operations and programming staff.
- Enforces data processing standards and manages job control language for data entry level transmissions.
- Coordinates training classes for clinical staff and ensures distribution of training materials.
- Prepares data and performs data analyses.
- Maintains documentation systems and ensures records are complete, accurate and adhere to program requirements.
- Monitors compliance and revises tools, policies and procedures accordingly to assist with compliance with quality improvement initiatives.
- Complete all documentation, data entry, and administrative paperwork within a timely manner.
- Performs other related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have at least two years of administrative/ clerical experience.
- Must pass a fingerprinted criminal history background check.
- Must pass a physical exam which includes a T.B. test and drug screening.
Working Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time. 20-40 Hour Week Position.
Salary: Negotiable and highly based on experience.
